We are pleased to share the latest issue of LEAP magazine where the Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF) features Clinical Trials 101. When it comes to clinical trials, Alberta is a leader in the country. These trials are essential to finding new ways to treat, detect and prevent cancer and improve the quality of life for cancer patients. In this issue, ACF takes a closer look at clinical trials and explore the cutting-edge research and studies making a significant impact on diagnoses and patient outcomes.
The Fall 2021 LEAP issue is also filled with stories and accomplishments from Alberta Cancer Clinical Trials (ACCT) Leadership; Dr. Randeep Sangha - Director, Clinical Trials Unit, Cross Cancer Institute and Dr. Jose Monzon – Director, Clinical Research Unit, Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
